I have six years of Secondary Maths teaching experience, including Higher GCSE and GCSE Further Maths, as well as experience of leading across KS3 Maths.
Tutoring Experience
Experience includes teaching a wide range of abilities from Yr 7 through to Yr 11, including GCSE Further Maths, including having had several GCSE exam groups with a range of abilities. Past results show that I am able to motivate students in order for them to achieve their best.
Tutoring Approach
I have an excellent understanding of the Maths curriculum and therefore I would be able to offer booster sessions for those approaching their GCSEs, as well as helping to fill in any gaps and deepen understanding across KS3. Sessions would differ depending on the student, and I would use an introductory session to gauge the best strategies to help. I am willing to be fairly flexible on times and days.
