Hi! I’m Georgia, a music and history tutor playing and teaching up in the north of England, my beloved home since moving from down south to study music at The University of York. I teach electric and double bass in addition to music and history, and absolutely love seeing students reach their full potential in their chosen subjects!

Tutoring Experience

I have been tutoring privately for over five years, including in Edexcel & AQA Music at GCSE and A Level, ABRSM & Trinity Music Theory and Edexcel History (both GCSE and A Level). I have taken GCSE & A Level Music and History, both with Edexcel, so I am familiar with all of the facets of preparing yourself for some quite heavy exams!

Tutoring Approach

I am both an educator and an encourager, and aim to work with students to create and provide engaging lessons that are tailored to their chosen areas of study whilst also cheering them on in their work! I understand that studying for exams can bring up a lot of demand on students' time, so I'm here not only to help students in their courses, but also here to encourage the good work they are doing.
