Hello there! If you are looking for a way to understand and really get maths and English as well as levelling up your grades , look no further! :) I am a friendly and accessible teacher, I would like you the student to have the most time to ask questions and get the most out of the lesson , so essentially I am the resource! Outside of teaching I love playing badminton, reading manga and learning Japanese!

Tutoring Experience

I have a bachelor's degree in mathetmatics and a TEFL qualification in English. I also am a qualified school teacher and have tutored and taught in schools since 2013. I have also been an exam invigilator for multiple boards such as Edexcel and AQA and know the ins and outs of how examiners marks very well! I taught English in Japan for 3 years and then came back to teach in primary schools across the UK. I lead two schools to achieve record breaking SAT's results in both Math and English and have an over 90 percent record of students moving up a maths set when taking my classes.

Tutoring Approach

My lessons are based on being fun and interactive; not just an -answer questions out of a textbook -style ,or going at a pace that is too fast for you ! I like to use a lot of different resources like multilink cubes, cards and I can assure you that you will have every single part of the learning broken down for you ! For English GCSE, I teach the exact method needed to achieve a Grade 8/9 and have helped many students go from a Grade 4 all the way up to a Grade 9 in less that 6 months! There is a specific process and once you master it you can achieve this grade . I can show you how! :)
