I adore getting to know my students' quirks and eccentricities. I try my best to make lessons fun and engaging.
Alongside teaching, I am completing my YA fiction novel, compiling a poetry anthology, and putting together a research proposal for PhD study.
I attended Hillcrest Grammar School, Marple Sixth Form College, and The University of Salford. I’m a recent graduate; therefore, I'm familiar with how the education system functions; how to revise and prep efficiently to achieve the best grades.
In 2016, I was awarded The Vice Chancellor's Scholarship to complete a Master's Degree in Creative Writing. I passed with a Merit. In 2015, I completed a three year Bachelor of Arts Degree in English Literature & Creative Writing, result: First-Class.
Ultimately, I’m super eager to contribute my skills and experience to guide your child and hope to have the opportunity to speak with you further.

So far, I’ve taught English Literature and English Language privately in the UK for three years. Additionally, I have experience teaching in high schools. I have a full DBS check.
My approach to tutoring is friendly, bespoke, and professional. Tuition is aimed at all ages including Primary School, High School, College, and beyond. I'm flexible with teaching locations: either a quiet room in your house; my office space; or a public library. One-to-one tuition is tailored to students who may choose to focus on the following:
