Gabriella

My son has only had two sessions with Gabriella however he is very enthusiastic about how she is tackling his problems. He really struggles with his English and needed someone who could (a) gain his respect (b) identify with his problems (c) establish a plan and (d) encourage and motivate him to work his English. As a parent I was very impressed with what Gabriella said when I had an initial discussion with her before agreeing to progress. She has not only the qualifications you would want but also marks exam papers so is very much aware of what is needed to secure good grades. In addition to this she has an enthusiasm for helping young people and appeared to understand how to communicate to get the best out of the student. My son advised me that Gabriella spends time trying to identify what is the best way for him to learn and quickly came up with a plan. He feels that she treats everybody as an individual and creates a bespoke way of learning to maximise the opportunity that each student has to secure good grades. He states she is always prepared, knows what she wants to do, is creative in overcoming his areas of weakness, identifies what he should be doing next and sets constructive and clear revision. Due to her being a teacher and qualified grader of exam papers she knows what stage he is at, what he will be doing next at school, what is required to improve his grades and most importantly what needs to be done. My son is not a huge lover of school or exams he is an outdoors type person who is good with his hands and enjoys technical / mechanical challenges but to achieve what he wants for a career he must get the paper qualifications to support his career plan. As a parent and in his words not mine, we have chosen the right tutor. I know that it is early days but I believe that the initial indications on respect, comitment, desire, enthusiasm, knowledge, determination and believe in ones own ability are crucial. Gabriella has an abundance of this and I am certain she will maximise the opportunity my son has to secure the best grades he could achieve. I fully endorse and recommend her. It should also be noted that despite her busy schedule both business and private she is very flexible.
