I am a Science (Chemistry specialist) teacher at a state school that boasts in excess of 1000 students. I teach ages 11-19 (KS3 to KS5). I am a Science teacher by trade but equally competent in Maths. I graduated from Kings College London with a BSc (Hons) degree in Biomedical and Health Sciences.
I am a Science teacher and have taught KS3, KS4 and KS5 science. I have been tutoring for over 8 years to GCSE and A level students. I am a professional tutor and a science teacher at a state school.
I am a flexible individual when it comes to tutoring. I believe that every tutee is different and have different approaches to learning. Therefore I tend to tailor my method for every individual. I like to talk to my tutees and find out in what ways they learn best. However, if i think a certain approach is not working for a tutee i will change my method so that my teaching is fully effective and benefiting the individual. At the end of each session, i will always give the individual homework on the topics covered in that session to reinforce their memory and give them more practice. In addition, after a couple of sessions i will set mini tests to see if the individual has improved and knows how to approach the topics covered previously as well as the new topics. I like to make learning an exciting process so that the individual enjoys the subject they are studying so that they feel more confident about the subject.
