Online Maths and Physics Tutor

Hello, my name is Faraaz! I'm a recent 2022 graduate from Imperial College London with a Masters in Chemical Engineering.

Having gone through GCSEs and A Levels myself, I know how difficult getting a good learning routine and technique can be. However, through hard work, developing effective learning strategies and the support of my teachers, I was able to achieve 9 A*s at GCSE and 3 A*s at A level.

I hope to be able to use my experience and technique to help you achieve your academic goals!

If you would like to arrange an introductory session, please feel free to drop me a message!

Tutoring Experience

I have 5 years+ of tutoring experience, from Primary School to A Level. This includes two years of tutoring Maths and English at Kumon. I have been tutoring Maths, Chemistry and Physics at A Level and GCSE privately for 4 years and have built an excellent rapport with my students. I also have experience tutoring some international specifications. Through structured sessions, tailored for each students needs, I have helped my students develop a better understanding for their subjects, feel confident in tackling difficult questions and achieve their goals.

Tutoring Approach

I think it's important to have a good base understanding of each subject to lay a great foundation for acing your exams. Once you have this, digesting new topics becomes easy, and so does learning the tips and tricks to get those extra few marks and achieve the top grades!
For me, the best way to learn is to consolidate and review areas of strength and weakness in each topic and then addressing these weaknesses by practicing questions to assess if the content has been understood. I always encourage my students to ask questions and first try to solve problems themselves, as I feel the more you ask and question the more confident your understanding of a subject is.

Each student is different, so I ensure that we are working at the appropriate level and suitable pace to get the most out of each session.
