I really enjoy teaching languages as was brought up bi-lingually speaking German and English. My first career was in international advertising, marketing and public relations and I decided to train as a secondary MFL teacher at Bristol University in 2009. It was a great career move as I love teaching!
I have been a MFL secondary state teacher since 2010. I am currently a full time teacher of German and French at my current school of 4 years. I have a wealth of experience teaching KS3/KS4 German and French, as well as KS5 German.
I have also been Head of French at my current school writing schemes of work, running gifted and talented latin club and French trips as ell as creating engaging resources for nearly four years.I have been tutoring French and German privately for several years with excellent feedback and results!
I ensure that my students and tutees make great progress quickly and find out what each student needs to achieve well.I make great efforts to differentiate my teaching to ensure all my students enjoy learning languages! I am most of all a caring and supportive person who enjoys making learning fun and use a wide range of teaching styles to help make lessons more engaging.I also differentiate my teaching to ensure all can achieve well and stretch and challenge the most able or support those that need extra time to achieve their potential.
