I have an extensive track record of raising standards and improving communities and healthcare settings over the past 10 years, in both leadership and management roles. I have led over 30 projects and programmes meeting the agreed quality requirements, deadlines, and budgets. I have been responsible for delivering budgets of over £6 million for my projects.
I have evolved my strategic-thinking skills by working with people with different skillsets, backgrounds, and beliefs. I trust the benefits of cross-functional environments, which enable creative and open dialogue. Working closely with suppliers, customers and executives has helped me to assess needs through a proactive mode, and to find solutions via a more spherical view. To improve on this, I have applied SWOT and PESTLE analysis, mind mapping and the 5WHYs technique. For reviewing risk strategies and exploiting opportunities, I monitor and evaluate KPIs, to reach optimal targets.
I hold a bachelor's degree in Social Work and a master’s degree in Project Management, as well as the PRINCE2 Practitioner qualification (2017). I hold the Agile Certificate and since I am passionate about the Agile concept, I have been trained in and have applied most of its approaches, such as Lean, Kanban, Scrum and Agile DSDM (Dynamic Systems Development Method).
I had the opportunity to apply most of PRINCE2’s management products, and to train some individuals and organisations on how to use them effectively for their own projects. These products included the Business Case, Mind Mapping, Work Breakdown Structure, Project Plan, Benefits Realisation, Lessons Learned Log, Process Map and RAID Log. Some of the project management techniques that I have applied and taught are the Checklist, Influence/Interest Matrix, Critical Path, Earned Value Analysis, Probability Impact Grid, and Cause and Effect Diagram. Additionally, some of the project management tools that I have used to support a visual and virtual collaboration are Trello, JIRA, Verto, MS Project Professional, MS Visio, MS Teams and all MS tools.
