I am a hard-working learning professional with a CELTA qualification, professional experience in marketing and administration, and experience of teaching in tough London schools, as well as a Teaching Assistant and tutor for students of a range of ages and abilities. I am enjoying blissful isolation at the moment, and open to tutor online or in person in the Huntingdon area.

Tutoring Experience

Tutor: Tutored two students with dyslexia to support them with their English GCSE
ITT Administrator: I work with trainee teachers, supporting the development of outstanding teacher training programmes.
Student teacher: As a student teacher I taught History from year 7 to A Level in a number of placement schools based in London
Teaching Assistant: I worked with students with a range of SEND, SPLD and ESOL needs. These students were post-16 students, and I worked with them to improve their outcomes. Many of the students I worked with were re-taking English and/or Maths GCSE, and passed the second-time round with my support.
English Language Teacher: I have worked with students in a range of language schools, from 10 years old to adults. Students came from a diverse range of countries, including Spain, Italy, Tunisia, China, Kazhakstan, Russia, Ukraine, Israel and France.

Tutoring Approach

I am patient and engaging. I believe it is important to be resilient and persevere. My philosophy is: if you are committed to learning and stick to your goals, you will get there in the end.
