I am a highly motivated, enthusiastic individual. I attained 9A* and 2As in my GCSES/iGCSEs and A*A*A at A-level/Pre-U. I graduated with a BA in English Literature from Durham University in 2021. I have availability for in-person and online tutoring.

Tutoring Experience

Previous experience:

At school, I held the positions of Head of House and Prefect. As a prefect, I was assigned a Year 7 class to mentor throughout the year, boosting their confidence and helping them adjust to the senior school environment.

I was hired as an au pair by a family in Italy for two weeks in August 2018 where I taught English as a foreign language to three Italian children under 12 years old. I used Orwell’s Animal Farm to discuss politics and history alongside improving their English literacy.
Additionally, I tutored Beginners’ Latin on a voluntary basis throughout my penultimate year of school.

Tutoring Approach

I adapt my preferred teaching methods to the student's capability and offer a discounted preliminary session (25%) to gauge their current understanding of the subject(s).

I truly believe that with the correct tuition it is possible to go from a C at mocks to an A* in the exam.

For online classes, I prefer to use Zoom.
