Hello, I am a qualified PE teacher who has a passion for physical activity. This year I have been teaching geography combining my love for adventure with physical activity. Academically I have achieved an Upper Second Class Honours in Sport and Exercise Science from Leeds University. I also completed my PE PGCE at Loughborough University. I teach at a secondary school and I have knowledge of BTEC, GCSE and A-Level Physical Education. I teach KS3 and KS4 geography which I have developed a love for learning of the topic. My academic background has allowed me to teach the theoretical side of PE to a high standard and make applications to sport that support learning. I believe in a positive learning environment and in my lessons with a structured format in which I facilitate learning and address any misconceptions. I am very knowledgeable and can support to ensure maximum progress throughout my lessons. I believe my lessons are interactive and engaging which ensures learning is continuous and enjoyable. I predominantly have knowledge in AQA however, I have taught OCR. But I am versatile and willing to look at different exam boards.

Tutoring Experience

I have taught in a range of different educational settings from primary to secondary and at special needs schools. I have a passion for PE and enjoy teaching it at all levels. I also currently teach Geography and would happily support students in this subject as well.
