Psychology is a new subject for many, and you are not alone with wanting a bit of extra support with it.

I have been there! I really struggled through my own A-Levels, but I also stuck in there and developed a real passion for psychology, studying it at Bsc, MSc and doctoral level. I currently work primarily as a professional and chartered Psychologist, specialising in working with children and adolescents, however I also enjoy tutoring students on the side for a bit of variety.

Whether you want help with their understanding of psychology theories and case studies or you would like some additional help with essay writing and other exam techniques, I have a lot of knowledge, study-skills and optimism to offer you.

Tutoring Experience

I have tutored many A-level psychology students studying the AQA and OCR curriculums, as well as BSc level modules, with great results.

Tutoring Approach

I aim to engage students to intrinsically understand the content in their psychology curriculum. When you understand, rather than have merely memorised, you will find your confidence to face any exam question.

In addition, I help students to develop their exam and essay skills including: preparing your body and brain for optimal performance, essay structure, writing style, and incorporating psychological key words, to help you achieve best results.

I have a good understanding of different learning styles and can tutor flexibly to help you to access and enjoy the subject.

I am a warm and friendly person, and I aim to help all my students to feel relaxed and optimistic.
