Hello, I am a Maths teacher and love tutoring students on a one-to-one basis (or small groups) as I believe this to be highly effective for the learners' success.

I have a MSc in Chemistry with 2 years of Maths and Physics studies.
Also I have A Levels in Maths, English and Italian.

My mother tongue is Italian as I was born in Italy and lived there until 22 years ago when I relocated to England. I would be a perfect support for Italian language learners.

I offer a 50% discount for the first lesson.

I am a Maths teacher and for several years I have successfully tutored students privately to help them throughout their year's program.
All my tutees have reached their predicted grades and the vast majority have exceeded expectations.

Since the first lockdown I have specialised in tutoring online using Meet, Skype, Zoom, etc. and interactive whiteboards .

I am very confident with the new 9-1 program as I also am an OFFICIAL EXAMINER for the GCSE final examinations (I mark the summer sessions exams papers). This is really helpful because I can see common mistakes and misconceptions that can benefit the tutees.

I also have experience with the International GCSE (iGCSE) and the Free Standing Mathematics Qualifications (FSMQ).

Tutoring Approach

During the one-to-one sessions, I use a platform that allows to video call and share the screen so that I can show resources and exercises with students. I also use interactive whiteboard programs to walk students through examples step by step.
Once I got to know the tutee's needs, I tailor the resources and their exercises to both burst their confidence and improve their knowledge of maths.

Offline, between one session and the other, I search for the best topics for the students needs as well as worksheets for them to practice on. I also mark past papers and homework and support them with any questions they have.

I fully adapt to the learners needs while following a tailored program to suit the student's abilities and targets
