I am a caring, kind and inspiring teacher, I work extremely hard to get to know my students individually, not only so they feel they are a respected and valued but also to tailor my teaching in order for my students to achieve their full potential. I place huge value on being well prepared for each lesson and my pedagogical approach sets high expectations for all students, no matter what their ability, educational needs or behavioural reputation within their school.

Tutoring Experience

• I am a KS3 and KS4 Geography teacher within an 'Outstanding' school approved by OFSTED.
  • I have qualified teacher status.
  • I am a year 11 pastoral tutor so I understand the pressure that students face when the exam period is approaching.
  • I am a AQA examiner and have completed professional training so I have a deep insight into how students need to apply their knowledge to achieve the best possible grades.

Tutoring Approach

I really enjoy delivering challenge-based learning, as I believe that this really engages my pupils in the theory especially when collaborative learning can take place. I endeavour to nurture my student’s talents in innovative and exciting ways, encourage them to be enthusiastic and ambitious with the hope to develop students who have a passion for Geography and who will become lifelong learners and not just students who are just learning for exam success.
