Eddie is very experienced and his teaching is easy to understand. He’s very smart and professional.

We engaged Eddie to work with my Godson on A level maths at the start of February this year. Aim was to sit the exams in June (only 17 weeks to prepare). My Godson had been out of school for 2 years, and lacked confidence in his Maths after getting a C first time round. Eddie revisited all my Godson’s weak areas, provided high quality and engaging tuition, and enabled my Godson to significantly improve his confidence. The result was a B grade, which allowed my Godson to commence an M Eng in Robotics Engineering at a strong University. With only 17 weeks to prepare, and my Godson having been out of education for 2 years, we consider this an excellent result. Well done Eddie!

Eddie has been working with our daughter for several weeks. He explains things very well, is friendly and reliable. We're already noticing a difference in her confidence. Would highly recommend him.

Eddie was given an almost impossible task to prepare my son for maths A'level in 4 weeks after my son had done no work for 6 months. He was able to find the perfect way to prepare my son to do the work that was needed and as a result improved his result and he achieved an A. We feel very lucky to have found Eddie!

The pandemic and missing school impacted my confidence in GCSE maths and Eddie has helped hugely with this. The way he explains things is really clear. He uses an online whiteboard called Idroo which provides an easy to understand visual explanation of problems. Eddie is very friendly and easy to relate to. His encouraging style of teaching has been a great help increasing my confidence in my mathematical ability.

Eddie has been excellent - he has been tutoring our daughter for a year now, and helped her move from a strong 6 / possible 7 to a final result of 8 in her Maths GCSE. She is now continuing Maths at A level and continues to have an online lesson with Eddie nearly every week. She is enjoying and is confident in the subject, and likes the way that Eddie encourages her to work through a problem so that she finds the answer herself, whilst providing guidance and explanation where necessary. Eddie is responsive, flexible and professional - this has been a really worthwhile investment.

Eddie is a fantastic tutor. He has quickly formed a strong rapport with our son. He always comes prepared for the lessons and is extremely knowledgeable. After the GCSE non-calculator paper fiasco this year (June 2015) our son's confidence was knocked, and Eddie came to the rescue! Eddie-Joe was very personable, punctual and my son totally related to him, so after a weekend's intensive maths tuition he was given the tools required to face the calculator paper the following week. I would recommend Eddie to anyone requiring a maths tutor in the future.
