Tutoring Experience

A working lifetime in primary education that included 24 years as headteacher at various schools. I have been tutoring for the last 10 years, preparing children for 11+ entrance examinations to state grammar schools as well as independent school entrance examinations. I have the national Special Needs qualification and also work with students who require specialised support.

Tutoring Approach

All tutoring must be tailored to a student's particular needs. Once those needs have been identified, appropriate, and challenging pathways are planned. I make full use of technology in supporting this process as well as the traditional methods of teach, practice and reinforce.
