Hi - I'm David and I'm a fully qualified, experienced Maths Teacher who now works full-time as a professional Tutor. I specialise in tutoring A-level Maths and A-level Further Maths. Tuition can be in person or online.

I offer a friendly, effective and exceptionally high quality A-level Maths/Further Maths Tutoring service. My tuition is aimed at strengthening the student’s depth of mathematical understanding, developing students' questioning techniques and, crucially, equipping students with the skills to 'self-teach' and learn independently wherever possible. This, in my opinion, is by far the best preparation for A-level exam success and further study. In the vast majority of cases students/parents are genuinely delighted with the quality of tuition and support offered.

Students are strongly encouraged to contact me at any time between sessions for support and help with any maths questions they are struggling with. This is completely free for all regular students.

Tutoring takes place either online or at my family home in Gedling, Nottingham.

Tutoring Experience

I've taught maths at various schools in the Nottingham area, specialising in A-level. I cover all A-level topics including Stats and Mechanics as well as all pure content and the majority of optional content from the Further Maths A-level syllabus. I work with students studying the AQA, Edexcel, OCR and OCR-MEI A-level specifications.

I am, of course, fully conversant with the new A-level specifications (first taught from September 2017).

In addition I have well over 10000 hours of A-level Maths/Further Maths tutoring experience.
