Experience Mathematics tutor at GCSE and A-level mathematics and further mathematics, currently studying Mathematics at the university of Southampton.

I set my hourly rate with a view to make tuition affordable to as many students as possible. I tutor for the love of the subject not the profit.

I have extensive experience in all three major UK exam boards (Edexcel, OCR and AQA)

Tutoring Experience

Over the last four years I have been tutoring students primarily across GCSE and A-level mathematics including further A-level mathematics.

Specialist Further A-level modules include Decision, further pure and further mechanics.

Tutoring Approach

No one student is the same thus my approach will always differ.

That being said a typical first session will normally consist of the student going through a specific exam paper with me that I have created covering their entire syllabus. This allows me to pin point their strengths and weaknesses and tailor further sessions to suit.
When topics are covered from scratch I will set work sheets which can (should) be completed away from the tuition and any issues that come up can then be discussed at future tuitions to iron out any confusion.

For students who aspire to the highest grade, material covered will go beyond specification to really challenge and allow them to enhance their understanding.
