I highly recommend David, he has made such a positive difference in many ways.
His professionalism and manner is second to none.
My son lacked confidence answering high mark questions and had noticeable gaps in his knowledge of maths.
Some topics he would instantly put up a wall as soon as he saw them on practice papers.
David has taught him to dismantle the barriers by way of his excellent and thorough teaching approach.
Explaining not only methods, rules and connections but in securing a more in depth knowledge bank. This learned information creates the basis and is then utilised in answering exam style questions to great effect.
The self belief my son now has in maths is all credit to David and he is confidently working at least two grades higher than where he began.

This man is a genius. He is excellent at explaining the topics. My daughter is very pleased as she understands what is being taught. After the lesson the tutor sends a copy of the notes so she can refer to then for revision.

We asked David to help our son with his preparations for GCSE maths in the run up to the exams. Our son found David helpful and his explanations clear and easy to follow. David always responded to any questions or subject specific queries that our son had and he provided follow up questions for each session to allow further practice and review of the topics covered. David was always on time for, and prepared for, online sessions. Our son would happily recommend him to anyone looking for maths support.

David has been excellent for our daughter. She has been more confident going into her Maths GCSEs and that is all because of his tutoring. The use of whiteboard has also proved to be so beneficial, allowing Maisy to keep the lessons as revision. So pleased to have had David teach our daughter.

David has provided outstanding support to our daughter throughout her GCSE Maths and Further Maths courses. Her confidence has grown so much, it has been wonderful to see her blossom in her mathematical capability through David's calming approach. He very quickly adapted to the challenges of the Covid lockdown to adopt vitual technologies to provide an uniterrupted service that worked brilliantly even though it was remotely done. David is very flexible to the needs of the individual student and works hard to give the student the best opportunity for success through carefully targetting topics. I have recommended David to family friends for Maths tuition and I will continue to do so.

My daughter has had weekly maths lessons, online since September 2020 and this will continue until summer 2022… Her maths confidence and her frequest school maths test results have improved greatly since she started working with David. She never grumbles about 'attending' her one hour, weekly sessions so David must be an interesting teacher. She likes going over maths subjects with David, sometimes this is before it is covered in class, which means she goes into her class fully prepped. As her online maths sessions continued through the last lockdown she is on track and her knowledge hasn't suffered at all… I have no doubt that when she takes her GCSE's in 2022 that she will achieve at least a grade higher than the school expects solely due to David's tuition. I would like to add, that as these sessions are held online and only a wipescreen is seen it is a very safe way of holding lessons with absolutely no safeguarding worries or issues. David is helpful with feedback and provides copies of wipeboard maths workings to be used for revision. I highly recommend.

David is an excellent tutor, obviously everything so far has been done online but it seems to work really well. David is always in contact with me, keeping me informed of progress etc, as well as always being open for any suggestions I might have. My son is happy to sit down each week for his lesson with David which is a testament to David’s teaching. David has listened to the issues we are struggling with and has planned perfect lessons to help my son hopefully pass his GCSE maths.

David was really helpful explaining how to set up his first tutor session. Great communication and very pleasant. The session went really well and we are going to continue for the foreseeable future.

We are very pleased with David as a tutor,helping my daughter with her GCSE Maths. He is patient and understanding which she needs as she finds maths quite challenging.

David is an excellent tutor. He is kind and empathises with the needs of the student. He communicates well and most importantly builds up a trusting relationship with the tutee. He shows good knowledge and insight into the necessary requirements of the syllabus and directs his teaching accordingly.

David has been tutoring our children in Key stages 2 and 3 since September 2016. From the onset we found David to be very warm and calm in nature which has really been great for our children. David is very patient and has a relaxed approach to the work which reflects in the children's work. Our children look forward to having Maths tuition with David each week. We have been to parents consultation evenings since having David and progress has already been noticed by teachers at school. What is evident is that David has a passion for Maths and for teaching and it is an absolute dream having him as a tutor, we honestly couldn't ask for a better one. We hope to continue with David for as long as we possibly can!

My son has only had two sessions with David but so far has really enjoyed them and found them extremely helpful. Max seems to get on well with David, who is very pleasant , and his confidence has already improved.

David was conscientious and tailored the level of work well to our son's ability.

I contacted David about helping me with a re-take for a maths module in my degree program and i couldn't have asked for a better tutor. Explained everything we went over in a clear and calm way which made it easy for me to understand, and in the short period of time we had, helped me to passing the module comfortably with the equivalent of a 2.1 which was a big leap from my previous result.
Overall David is really friendly, and has a brilliant approach to teaching that helped me enormously in learning the things i struggled with, as well as building my confidence up for the exam. I would highly recommend to anyone! and i can't thank him enough for his help.
