Qualified and Experienced Teacher of The Lady Eleanor Holles School and Assistant Head/ Experienced Tutor/ Qualified and Licensed Rapid Transformational Therapist (for nail biting, bullying, eating disorders, anxiety, confidence), Certified Coach, NLP Master Practitioner and mentor. Results driven but pastoral. I have a successful tuition business but i have also now extended it and I have worked very hard to qualify as a rapid transformational therapist, among other modalities, to help children further with anxiety, confidence issues, self-esteem issues, nail biting, sleep problems, eating disorders. This accelerates their exam progress even further.

My tuition is a monthly service rather than just an hourly service. I provide extra homework, if needed, and answer queries and give advice thoughout the week via email and WhatsApp messenger and voice. I have found that parents appreciate the support. I invest thousands of pounds into resources and go on endless development courses to be the best for my students.

Attainment assessments, mocks and/or tuition offered. I am a highly qualified and experienced teacher and my most recent teaching position was at The Lady Eleanor Holles School, five years ago, before realised that i was very good at helping children pass entrance exams. I tutor for 10+ and 11+ exams. I occasionally tutor for 7+ exams if the child is emotionally ready; well-being always comes first. I get results academically and in terms of emotional well-being: confidence, self-esteem and enjoyment of exams. People have always asked me how I am so successful and I think it is because I tune in to each child and really invest in their desired success.
After many years of proven top results, I hold a mixture of one-to-one lessons and i also overlap my lessons sometimes for safeguarding and for motivation and with a maximum of two children at a time for the best results. Each child has their own personalised work but they are all aiming for the same goal. They get the best of both worlds this way as they get personalised learning but occasionally have another child present to motivate them but also have the one-to-one experience to home in on their targets. I expect my students to work hard and focus well to achieve top results. I tutor children from year 4 upwards for the 11+ exams for grammar and independent schools. An assessment is compulsory to ensure that I am the right fit for your child and that they are the right fit for the cohort. I prepare children for all parts of the 10+ and 11+ exams. I tutor for English, maths, verbal reasoning, non-verbal reasoning and exam and interview skills. I also hold mock exams. You do not need another tutor if you have me. Homework is always given and is for the purpose of consolidating, extending or assessing and my marking is based on a priority system where the children will not feel overwhelmed and will be able to have a focus target to progress rapidly. I coach children to help conquer fears that they may have around exams or the run up to the exams. I can honestly say all my students are happy to walk into the exams and come out smiling. This is testament to my preparation.
I take on a maximum of 30 students at a time and am 100% committed to them to support them in and out of lessons and to help teach, coach, mentor them to success. I am looking for clients that are 100% committed to their child’s exams and are going to commit to the weekly sessions to help their child have consistency and to be completely prepared. Most of my clients are from word-of-mouth but I am always open to clients who truly value their child’s education and future and would like to join my cohort on this exciting journey.
My clients include celebrities, bankers, accountants, barristers, film makers as-well-as those from the general public. All of my clients are important to me and I also coach parents through the process so that they feel put at ease.
My current tutees are based in St. George's Hill, Cobham, Weybridge, Esher, Oxshott and the surrounding areas. Some also come from further areas, such as Windsor. I also tutor clients online from all over the world.
I have tutored successfully for entrance into a variety of schools including: St. Paul's, Eton, LEH, St. George's, Shrewsbury Lodge, Surbiton High, Hampton Prep and Hampton School, Tiffin (boys' and girls'), Kingston Grammar School, St Paul's, Reeds, Wimbledon High, Sir William Perkins, Milbourne Lodge, Radnor House, Wickham Abbey, Marist, St. Catherine's (Twickenham and Bramley), The Mall, Reading Blue Coats, Godolphin and Latymer, Royal Grammar School, King's College, Notre Dame, Buckinghamshire Grammar Schools, Nonsuch, St. John's, Harrow, Henrietta Barnett, Queen Elizabeth's School, Sutton, Wilson's and many more schools. Tutoring for Eton is £189 an hour.
My vast array of video, phone and written references can support this.
"My lessons with Danielle are interesting and fun. She challenges me and it is exciting to do activites with someone else there to know i'm not the only one preparing for exams and working hard."

Tutoring Experience

I have management experience as a Leader of Learning and as an Assistant Head Teacher. I have also taught in both the state school sector and the private school sector, including The Lady Eleanor Holles School, all of which I have equally enjoyed. I am aware that they all have very different approaches, but from experience they could enrich each other by sharing information.

I am also a published co-author and have participated in writing a book about 'teaching'. In the future I plan to write children's books as this is a passion of mine.

I have always been very competent at interviews and this comes in very useful for preparing your child for their private school interviews, as i believe that in order to boost the success of children, one must obviously be very competent in a subject or skill first.

Tutoring Approach

My approach is very holistic; each child is given a completely personalised approach to get them where they need to be. I would generally advise tuition to begin for your child at least a two years before grammar school exams and at least one year before all other exams. After the initial assessment, I will decide if I can take your child on as a long-term commitment and will be honest about their attainment and potential. I cannot guarantee that I can take on your child long-term until the assessment is completed. Usually, my sessions are an hour long, but for older children this can be extended.
