Danie has been a fantastic support and encouragement for my son, exactly what he needed in GCSE year. We started working with Danie quite late, in the January of GCSE year. Danie was very organised and structured in approach with a clear lesson plan and follow up homework. She took a flexible approach at first to engaging my son, who is bright but had very low motivation for the subject at the point of starting lessons with Danie; First tailoring her approach so that it didn't overwhelm or put him off even more and building from there. Within weeks there was a marked shift in his motivation, effort and interest in the subject. I'm absolutely certain his grade will improve from where he started with Danie, post mock exams. But more importantly he got a lot out of his time with Danie, he became motivated as a learner again, took ownership for his learning, and he clearly just started to enjoy and understand the point of learning French as a language. It was quite remarkable seeing the turnaround in his effort and interest and to hear him even occasionally practising his french out loud! He gained in both confidence and interest within a few sessions. I would have no hesitation recommending Danie and only wish we'd found her sooner.

Dani has helped my Year 11 daughter with her GCSE. She has been unfailingly professional, her lessons are highly organised and she provides follow up learning materials that have been excellent. She makes full use of the time and has given my daughter greater confidence and, results are awaited, but I am sure she has helped her obtain at least one grade higher if not two. I highly recommend her.

I had Daniele as my tutor for just over 18 months for help with my French GCSEs. When I started with Daniele I was receiving a grade 5 in class, and she helped my to achieve a grade 9 during my final GCSE exams. As well as being a very kind and encouraging teacher, I found her lessons to be very well structured. Danielle always had a plan for what we were going to do in the lesson and made an organised diary/ notes on everything we had covered each week so that I could revise the material later. I came to Daniele with many gaps in my French and she was very quick at discovering them and plugging them in. I felt very comfortable telling Daniele about things I did not understand and she would come the next lesson with extra notes and worksheets for me to practice on, which was very helpful. Overall, Daniele is an excellent teacher who made me love French and I would definitely recommend her as your tutor !

Danie was recommended to me by a local primary school french teacher and I am so grateful. She has extremely high expectations and worked very hard to provide a bespoke program to suit Georgi's needs. Danie was excellent value for money (she puts in a huge amount of additional time outside the actual session and was flexible when necessary which was much appreciated). From a very low start point, Georgi achieved an excellent French GCSE result which Danie and Georgi should both be extremely proud of. It was an absolute pleasure to listen to Georgi speaking French practising for her oral exams and I thank Danie for her patience and commitment throughout.

Danie has been truly amazing. She started to help my son a couple of months before his GSCE's, making a great effort to fit him and support him. She worked wonders over the course of a relatively few lessons - she really engaged him, built his confidence and developed his french language skills and exam technique. Helping him move from a predicted grade 5 to a grade 7. Danie is an outstanding tutor and highly recommended.

My girl started learning French only in the 2nd term of year 10, had been struggling a bit till the Christmas before her actual GCSE exam when we found Danièle. Daniele knew everything about how to make her score. Just received her 2022 results and my girl scored perfect UMS for all her French papers, and got a solid top grade.

Daniele is a wonderful teacher who has helped me so much throughout my studies. Over the past two years I have been studying the French A Level course, and as the exams started to approach I felt lost in my revision but fortunately I found Daniele who guided me in the right direction to achieve my absolute best in the final exams. Asked Daniele to help my son prepare for French CIE IGCSE exam, with emphasis on the oral exam.

Whilst searching for a tutor, in my opinion, Daniele's credentials stood out amongst all others. And that was before I learnt that she has authored CIE IGCSE study guides amongst a number of other publications.

My son had limited time availability for tutoring and Daniele went out of her way to reschedule one of her existing students in order to find a slot that worked. That was very much appreciated.

The online sessions worked well. My son really enjoyed them and, whilst we don't know the result yet, he is confident that his oral exam went much better than his mock exam.

I was very impressed with the diary/work log that Daniele maintains and shares with the student. This comprised a record of what had been covered in the session and some prep work to be done before the next session. This was sent through a short while after each session.

So, as you have gathered, my son and I were very impressed with Daniele and have no hesitation in recommending her.

Daniele has been fantastic with our daughter. We started tuition at the beginning of Year 13 because we wanted her to assist in preparing for the Oxford MLAT entry exam. We were also keen for general support to rebuild our daughter’s confidence with A level French both speaking and writing which had been lost during lockdown. I have had the pleasure of knowing Daniele since the New Year. Her lessons are well structured and she gives me a diary at the end of the lesson, which I have found really useful in the learning process. Daniele has been excellent at helping my son in French. She is very familiar with the curriculum and it’s requirements and my son has found her help with grammar very good. When my son started lessons with Danie, he was very poor in French and could barely string a sentence together in French. He had online lessons with Danie during the lockdown and she was fantastic with him. Danie is professional in her approach and tailored the lessons to his individual needs and specifically prepared some homework from scratch just for him. She used a host of different activities and games not only to reinforce both the speaking and writing skills but also to ensure that he was focused all through the lesson. By the time he went back to school, his confidence in French was impressive and that he could now confidently speak and write with ease is a testament to her tutoring. Thank you, Danie!

Danie has been an exceptional tutor for both my daughter (A level) and son (GCSE). She very quickly worked out (through her own assessment tests) their particular strengths and weaknesses, and each lessons was carefully targeted. Both the lessons and the homework she sets are focussed not only on learning French (obviously the ultimate goal!) but also on getting as many marks as possible in the exam papers. Danie understands exactly what the exam boards are looking for, and communicates that very well to her students. She is extremely friendly and approachable, and both my children looked forward to their lessons with her (quite something for a 15 year old boy who previously hated French!). She is also super flexible, and prepared to change lessons when she can when other things crop up. Both children's French has improved immeasurably since they started lessons with Danie, as shown in their mock results, and I think the grades that they will be assessed at (Covild 19 year) will reflect the skills and confidence she has given them. I couldn't recommend her more highly.

Daniele is an extremely professional and conscientious tutor who tailors her lessons to the specific needs of her students and genuinely cares about their progress.
Daniele began tutoring my son in the February of 2018 as he wanted to take his French GCSE early and free up his timetable for other subjects. Other tutors we approached discouraged the idea of taking exams at the end of Year 10 as he would not be taking French lessons in school and solely rely on tutoring. Daniele however was most encouraging and gave my son the confidence to proceed.
She has always kept us well informed by documenting what was covered in each lesson and work required for next time. She provided my son with a wealth of well organised resources targeted to his needs as well as efficient strategies for study.
15 months later my son sat his exams and achieved a level 9, scoring very highly in all 4 papers, we couldn’t be happier and will continue with her for further studies in the future.

I cannot recommend Daniele highly enough. Not only did my son achieve an A*, but he also, and most importantly, really enjoyed his lessons and learned more than French grammar. Daniele helped him to understand questions, respond succinctly and to the point - skills that he is using in his other exams and for his studies in general. Daniel used just the right balance of firmness and encouragement to ensure that work was completed on time. My son took lessons via skype and it worked a dream.

Daniele is clearly an educator of the French language of the highest level and has had a very positive impact on our son's A-level French performance. Even if we had not been aware it would not have surprised us to learn that Daniele is an acknowledged leader in this field with a record of published French education materials. She was immediately able to identify and assess our son's strengths and weaknesses, and importantly, then utilise the most appropriate teaching approach and material to improve where necessary. Daniele is a positive communicator who managed at the same time to motivate the pupil whilst making him aware that certain areas required improvement. Frankly we got much more than standard tutoring from Daniele. We are more than impressed by Daniele's capabilities and contribution to our son's education.

Danie tutored my son before his IGCSE. I would recommend her as she not only helps students learn French, she also teaches them how to do well in exams, which is a separate skill.

We couldn't find a good French tutor who could help my son with his French IGCSE locally. My son found Danielle on the first tutors website and I purchased her details and gave her a call. This was about late November time. She was happy to tutor him as long as he put in the work. She was about 100 Miles away, so we couldn't have face to face lessons. We tried the first trial Skype session and my son found it extremely useful and it worked really well. I wasn't sure how it would be, as I always thought face to face is more beneficial, but the lessons on Skype are like a one to one. Daniele advised him on what to work on and he took her advice and worked hard at it. She would set him some work and set tasks for him to complete. She would recommend things for Rajveer to carry on practicing. There were some weak areas that he needed really needed to work on ignored to get an A*. Daniele has been brilliant with my son and his confidence in the language has immensely improved. She helped him in all areas of listening, speaking, writing and reading . He had his mocks in French in February and he got an A* in the subject. I don't think this would be possible without Daniele's help. He possibly was hovering on a B/C but he wanted to aim to get an A* in both the mocks and finals. He has had weekly lessons right up to days before his final exam. Daniele is very flexible and always tried her very best to accommodate you. She did a regular lesson with my son on Fridays after school, he did some on Saturdays and Sundays and even Bank holidays when the Friday lesson wasn't wasn't possible. Time was short and alot of work was to be done, but it's possible if one makes a commitment to make it happen.

I can highly recommend Daniele to anyone requiring French lessons. She is brilliant, very professional and what most teachers should be like. It's hard to find teachers who are so dedicated in teaching in order for a child to achieve the result they want to. My son understood what was required of him and they worked together really well. Daniele helped my son's confidence in the language improve vastly. Daniele would every so often send me a text/email to reinforce to my son, on things she had advised. Being extremely flexible, made it easy for my son to have his weekly lesson especially when he couldn't have his set lesson due to other commitments. There were a few weeks in Feb/Mar when either my son or Daniele couldn't do the lessons, so Daniele would set him work or ask him to practise what she had asked him in previous lessons. I have no hesitation in recommending her.

She really is a brilliant teacher and I will remain very grateful for what she has done for my son.

Meeting Danie totally changed my son's attitude towards his GCSE French. He became very positive about the subject and spoke often of how helpful her tuition was.
