I hold a BSc in Psychology from the University of Warwick, where I also completed a placement year as a mentor in a secondary school. My journey in academia and beyond has been driven by determination and resilience, having worked hard to create new opportunities for myself after growing up in East London.
Though I now work in data analytics, my passion for psychology remains strong, which is why I continue to offer psychology tuition. I have also earned a Postgraduate Certificate in Covert Action, HUMINT, and the Psychology of Intelligence Elicitation from the University of Buckingham and am currently pursuing an MSc in Big Data and Digital Futures at Warwick, part-time.
You may notice that my fees are relatively low given my experience. That's because I tutor alongside my full-time job purely for the enjoyment of teaching and helping students succeed. While the financial aspect is a bonus, my primary motivation is sharing my knowledge and passion for psychology with others.
Since 2017, I have gained extensive experience in tutoring, working with students both through this platform and via word of mouth. Many of my students have found my support invaluable, particularly appreciating the detailed notes and resources I provide. I have helped students improve from C/D grades to A/A* in A-Level Psychology, demonstrating my commitment to their success.
In addition to psychology tuition, I have tutored in data analytics and SQL with Code First Girls.
I have also familiarised myself with the 2025 AQA Psychology specification and am highly confident in my ability to deliver high-quality tuition that aligns with the new curriculum.
I am also a named author in the following psychology papers:
Horton, E., Brownhill, L. A., Tones, D., Goldschmied, A. Z., & Jagjeet Jutley-Neilson. (2025). Developing an Evaluation Framework to Promote Meaningful Participation of Autistic People in Research: The ELPART and Participatory Group Checklist.
Horton, E., Brownhill, L., Bycroft, A., Goldschmied, A. Z., Knops, M. J., Lloyd, A., Tones, D., Toro, C. T., & Jutley-Neilson, J. (2025). In our own words: Using participatory dialogue to reflect on the mental health experiences of autistic students in university. Neurodiversity, 3.

Empowering Voices: Fostering Reflective Dialogue and Redefining Research Dynamics in Participatory Approaches With the Autistic Community. Journal of Participatory Research Methods, 5.
I will provide a full downloadable set of my notes after the second session for free. I will mark exam papers and questions I will do guided mocks with the student.
