This is how 5 referees rated Maria Cristina:
I qualified as a Spanish Language Teacher in September 1986 and began my professional career working for “Colegio Cervantes” in Spain. During that years I became increasingly experienced dealing with students of all ages and levels. I was teaching there for eight years, in 1998 I decided to move in London and here I started teaching from 2000, working with youth and adults.
Since 2000 I have joined a few Language Agencies which I am collaborating still. During these years I have consolidated my skills and knowledge.
My interpersonal skills are very good and I am able to communicate effectively with students, professionals and colleagues.
Spanish Language private tuition, one to one and groups (2000 - present)
Private language tuition, working with young people and adults, teaching grammar and culture towards their examinations, essays or private interest.

My approach to tutoring is that I tailor my tuition to the needs of the student. I will tutor in the student’s home or on their place of work. I will vary my style depending on the ability and needs of the student. I aim to run my tuition in support of the progression of my students through their subject syllabus, but I am also willing to progress more slowly and focus on particularly weak areas if the student so desires.
As I aim to tailor my tuition to the individual I expect students to maintain regular contact in regards to their subject progressions and their individual needs. I expect students to arrive at tuition sessions with a clear idea of what it is they hope to get from the sessions.
I will provide each student with a progress log and detailed feedback on how they are performing and areas where they need to improve, I may also set work for my students to complete outside of sessions and for this set work I will offer a marking service.
