Tutoring Experience

Experienced teacher with a strong record in supporting learners to develop their exam technique and confidence in preparation for SQA exams.

I am an SQA Appointee, undertaking various roles including Marker for the Higher Business Management Question Paper and Assignment.

Tutoring Approach

My approach is to work with students to identify areas of concern and misconceptions with a focus in closing gaps in their knowledge to maximise attainment.

I use tutoring to allow students to consolidate their in-class learning, as well as helping them develop their knowledge and understanding of the SQA command words to improve exam technique.

I have found this to be the most effective approach when helping students prepare for Prelims/final exams.
