I graduated from a Geography degree at the University of Bristol a year ago and worked at a secondary school as an LSA for the last academic year. I am available to tutor Maths, Geography and Sciences up to and including GCSE and Geography for A level too. I also have a TEFL qualification so am available to teach that too! I love working with children and would like to continue this through tutoring while I undertake a medicine degree which I am beginning this September.
Tutoring Experience
I have a TEFL qualification and tutored English as a foreign language online for 2 years. I also spent the past year working as an LSA in a secondary school. Furthermore, I have experience with younger children as I spend the school holidays instructing at a cookery school for children 8-14.
Tutoring Approach
I incorporate different types of learning, including visual, auditory and kinetic and aim to find the right method for each tutee. I encourage to tutee to ask questions to make sure they understand the concepts. I then focus my tuition on what they are finding the most challenging.
