I am a History graduate specialising in Germany 1919-1945, The Second World War, and Russia 1860-1990 including the Cold War. I also have broad knowledge of American history.

I have tutored family friends in both Maths and History.

Tutoring Approach

I try not to limit myself to one style of explanation, some students will take more time to find their own way to understand the situations being discussed. I would like to get to know the course the student is studying, and the areas they are struggling with. I would also like to start by reading some written work that the student has already done, to see their technique and style, and work out the best way to go forward.
