My work as an Examiner for A Level Biology helps me focus students on the technique required to get the grades.

As well as tutoring at home, I also tutor online which gives more flexibility to students (digital resources are provided).

As well as weekly sessions I also offer a series of intensive tutoring sessions when required.

I also work as a freelance Personal Trainer (fitness), and in my leisure time, I am an ultramarathon runner, as well as holding the ranks of Black Belt in Taekwondo, Shotokan Karate and Okinowan Kobudo.

Tutoring Approach

I quickly develop positive relationships with my students. This allows me to tailor my approach to the specific needs of the individual. Every student is different, so every approach needs to be different.

I build confidence within in my students and ensure they feel comfortable to ask questions in order to ensure their success.

Working for the exam board means I also coach my students in examination technique and in how to gain marks in examinations (a key component in exam success!) as well as clearly explaining the subject content.
