I am currently working in the Humanities department at a high achieving secondary school in London, I have competed a degree in Geography (BSc) at Queen Mary UoL and hold a PGCE in the subject. I have completed a Masters (MA) in Geography Education at the Institute of Education UoL and I have attended a number of training sessions on the process behind the marking of exams, so have an in depth knowledge on how to attain high grades. For 2 years I worked at a top Private International school where students achieved 100% A* - C and 85% A* - A.
I have been a fully qualified teacher for 7 years and currently teach 6 GCSE classes on the Edexcel exam board I also have 1 A Level class on the AQA exam board.
I have written revision guides for my students and also have a vast collection of past exam papers in order to prepare my tutees for success.
I focus on exam technique but can tailor lessons to the needs of my tutees, as I work in a fully inclusive comprehensive school helping students understand the subject in great depth is one of my main strengths.
My tutoring style is learner focused providing students with the opportunity to excel.
