Chris's Feedback

We feel very fortunate to have found Chris. My daughter has been attending for just over a month and already she feels more positive and motivated in her English A level studies. She expresses finding Chris friendly, helpful and light hearted. The hour session is well structured and enjoyable.

Chris has been a saviour for my son Alfie. He has been coming over the summer break for a few weeks of intensive 2 hour slots to help Alfie catch up on all that he didn’t learn in Yr 10. Alfie has ADHD and has struggled at school to engage with the GCSE course but Chris has reversed this and Alfie has been amazed at how much he has learned and enjoyed with Chris. We would 100% recommend him and will be continuing weekly sessions throughout Yr 11.

Chris stands out as being amongst the most creative, organised, thoughtful and inspirational of teachers. His love of and expertise in his topic (Eng Lit & Lang GCSEfor us) shines through and he is beyond professional. He makes the subjects sing. (He also works well as part of a team) .

Chris brings the subject to life, he combines deep academic understanding with an enthusiasm that inspires my son, and has given him a confidence and interest in the subject he previously lacked. I would very much recommend Chris.

Chris has met with my son 3 times so far, helping him with A level English literature. He’s been reliable and organised. Most importantly, he’s inspired my son to read more and engage with this subject. We’re very pleased to have Chris and would strongly recommend him.
