Hello! I am Charlotte! I am a fully qualified efl teacher and a passionate linguist, currently in my 3rd year of a modern languages degree. I am a friendly, open person who has traveled extensively and, through teaching, I have met some incredible people who have gone on to do amazing things! I have an up to date DBS (CRB) certificate and currently have slots available for new pupils!

Tutoring Experience

I currently teach Languages online as I am away studying at University however prior to this I taught at a variety of private English language schools in the UK , in addition to this I have taught English, French, Spanish and Italian extensively to a multitude of students around Europe ranging from complete beginners up towards advanced students. I have completed a full time Cambridge certified English teaching Qualification (CELTA) and have many years of teaching both one to one and classroom lessons. Im also currently studying modern languages and literature at University - I have experience with teaching both the IELTS and Cambridge English exams

Tutoring Approach

My approach to tutoring is relatively relaxed, I work at the pace of the learner and work to their needs and how they wish to proceed with their Language learning. Conversational language and contextualising new grammar and structures for learners is something that I am passionate about to help them to immediately use new language and apply it to everyday life. I also try to make my lessons enjoyable for my students because I believe that people learn more when they are enjoying their lessons!
As a result of being away at University, I am conducting all of my lessons via Skype, my timetable and schedule are flexible and I am able to work around pupil availability!
