Charlie's Feedback

Charlie's approach to building relationships with our child has been excellent, being interested in them, and interesting to them. Through this, Charlie has sought to understand the learning style, likes and dislikes, and use this to inform the learning session materials.
Our child continues to attend the sessions, returning from these with a sense of pride and enjoyment, which is having a positive impact on confidence around learning, which was one of the main reasons we reached out to Charlie.

Excellent tutor, fun and engaging my daughter has enjoyed the extra help and now feels well prepared for her national five exams, she has gone from hating English to feeling confident.

I can't recommend Charlie enough. She has a great way of explaining things to make them sound easy. My only regret is not getting Charlie to tutor my daughter earlier.

Charlie was simply the best tutor we could have imagined to support our son through the final months of Higher English and prep for exam. Her passion for the subject is clear and infectious. She has that knack of just clicking with the person she is communicating with in a very friendly and professional manner. My husband and I both have degrees in English but could not have inspired our sons confidence to the extent that Charlie did. When choosing subjects for 6th year, he considered AH English as Charlie had made English enjoyable again. Prior to Charlie’s input he was predicted a C, the final result was an A. Charlie has been amazing. Very quick response and excellent communication. She connected well with my daughter who felt at ease to ask any question to assist with her learning. The lessons were very well planned and engaging. I would highly recommend Charlie.
