My name is Cata and I am from Barcelona, Spain. I have just moved from London to Brussels in order to complete an internship, I am therefore only offering online tutoring at the moment. I spent one year living in Coventry undertaking my 4th year at Warwick University. I have studied Politics majoring in International Relations and I hold a Master's Degree on Diplomacy and Human Rights.
In Barcelona I studied in a French school for 14 years and that is why French could be considered my fourth language, the others being Spanish, Catalan and English.
I am responsible, patient and I can be extremely clear and concise while speaking.
I have been teaching young students from my school since I was 15. My lessons were mainly in French about history and geography, mathematics, French, Spanish, Catalan and English grammar and literature etc. I had taught Spanish to adult English-speakers in the UK, face-to-face as well as via Skype. Finally, I volunteered teaching Catalan to foreigners in Barcelona.. I therefore have plenty of teaching experience and I absolutely enjoy it.
I am friendly and personable with my students, and as I get to know them personally it helps them feel comfortable and relaxed in their learning.
In the past I have helped students with their homework, but I always motivate them to give thought and consideration to their answers.
Regarding exam preparation, I find it beneficial both to discuss answers to the exam questions, and to divide the examined material into a study scheme. The latter helps motivate the student to study as they perceive a lighter workload.
I provide teaching materials personalised for each of my students.
