Carol was very well equipped for my son, she had a good insights for different requirements for exams and selected a well suited curriculum for him. She covered a lot just in the first session and encouraged him to want to know more and report back on the lesson. So far so good!

Carol is working very well with our son. Unfortunately we had to move schools, and his new school doesn’t have the option to take Latin at GCSE.
He will now be able to do the GCSE independently with Carol’s tuition. Carol is reliable, professional and helpful. Our son enjoys his lessons with her, and finds her easy to get along with (which makes all the difference!) Thank you Carol!

Carol has been teaching my daughter A-level Latin and Ancient Greek through online and in-person lessons for a year now, working towards A-levels in Latin in 2024 and Greek in a later exam season.

Carol is a very knowledgeable tutor with a great depth of understanding of her subjects (which also includes Classical Civilisation). She has a high level of understanding of each subject's syllabus and examination requirements, and her lessons are organised, focussed and productive. She sets suitable work for between lessons, and supports my daughter between lessons with web links and resources sent by email. She is good at delivering online lessons, easy to communicate with, and accommodating when it comes to planning lessons and making changes when required.

Carol is a warm and friendly person who has built a very positive relationship with my daughter, who looks forward to her lessons with Carol very much.Their mutual passion for Classics makes for interesting discussions around the topics that come up during study, which enrich the learning experience.

I am fully expecting Carol's teaching to lead my daughter towards a very good A-level result in both Latin and Greek, and can highly recommend her as a tutor.
