AWARD-WINNING MEDICAL DOCTOR AND TEACHER.
Professional London medical doctor and tutor with over 700 hours of experience in teaching and tuition.

I am an enthusiastic, friendly, and patient medical doctor and mathematics/sciences tutor graduated from Imperial College London. I am known to reply relatively quickly and I am well organised. I have achieved all A*s at A Level for Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics, and an A for AS Level Physics. For my A-Level exams, I achieved full UMS for many papers.
As a high achiever at sixth form, I was chosen by the Maths and Sciences department to achieve the Sixth Form Mathematics and Sciences Trophy for my year group.
I have been through the medical school applications, and I have sat the entrance exams such as the BMAT and UKCAT, in which I was able to achieve high scores in. Therefore, I am able to provide practice medical school interviews, practice BMAT question papers and additional resources for medical school entrance exams. I am also available to teach and explain any information that you need to learn for the entrance exams. I can help with UCAS personal statements and guide you through university applications.

Tutoring Experience

I have had many hours in teaching as I have been teaching students for over 6 years. This gave me the opportunity to tutor many students and help them with their homework and revision. For those that are high-performing students, we work together to go above the current curriculum to prepare them well for future topics that they will learn in school.
Furthermore, I have tutored perspective medical students in a programme at Imperial College London and other locations, where I advised them on how to get offers from medical schools.
In addition, I have done volunteering in a primary school where I worked as a teaching assistant. This means that I have had experience in working with both children and teenagers.

Tutoring Approach

My lessons are well-structured and detailed. I plan out the lesson before the tutorial to ensure that all the content is covered. In addition, I will provide summary tests to make sure that the student has understood the information covered during the tutorial. This is because I believe that tests are good methods to find out which topics the student is unsure about so that I know what I could do to help them improve.
I am able to provide practice questions and papers for the student to complete, and then go through the answers with them. Furthermore, I will ensure that they understand why they got any answers incorrect, as this is very important for a high achieving student.
