My background is in Mathematics. I have a PhD in Pure Mathematics from Imperial College London, and I worked in Algebra research as a Postdoc at the University of Western Australia. After leaving academia in 2019, I have had Quantitative research roles in trading and sports. I am currently working as a Data Science contractor for an AI consultancy.
Tutoring Experience
During my PhD and Postdoc I was responsible for tutoring a number of students across many areas of Mathematics. I have also tutored Mathematics and Physics privately across all secondary school levels.
Tutoring Approach
I believe in teaching from the ground up to make sure there is a fundamental understanding of the material. Once the fundamentals are fully grasped, practicing exam questions is much more valuable.
