Callum

I am a Chemistry Master's graduate from the University of Bath, offering tutoring for both Chemistry and Maths to GCSE and A-level students. Prior to my degree, I achieved an A and A* at A-level in Chemistry and Maths respectively. I also tutor Biology and Physics up to GCSE level.

I am a sociable and outgoing person with strong interpersonal skills, an eye for detail, and a passion for learning. My main passions outside of work include sports, art and music.

Tutoring Experience

I have extensive experience tutoring chemistry and mathematics GCSE with a proven record in improving tutee grades in both subjects. I volunteered as a teaching assistant during Sixth Form, helping my teachers to run their classes for both chemistry and mathematics.

Tutoring Approach

I focus on teaching students to think through questions methodically rather than simply explaining the answers. I do this to ensure that they understand the key concepts needed to tackle any exam problem in a step-by-step manner.

Once I am satisfied that the level of understanding is good enough, I work through past papers with the students and give them key advice on revision strategies and exam techniques to make sure they achieve the highest possible results.
