Apprenons le français dans la joie et la bonne humeur !
I am a French tutor from Nantes in France. I have vast experience in tutoring. I provide my students with high-quality and customised language lessons as I adapt my lessons and teaching methods based on needs and ability. I offer a range of courses from beginner to advanced level. I tutor children and adults alike. Whether you want to learn a new language for pleasure, business or to take exams I will be able to help you. Whatever your needs are, we can make a program that works for you. I can personally help you learn French, English as a foreign language and British Sign Language.
1 to 1
The most popular option is the private one to one lesson. One of the biggest advantages of private tuition is that lessons are customised to suit each student. Learners will benefit from the fact that a tutor can adjust the pace, focus and goals of a lesson depending on the needs and abilities of the student. Students confidence improves as they get help and test practice. Tutors and students are able to work more closely which enables teachers to spot potential problems and give them assistance as and when required.
With no need to travel, increased flexibility and advances in technology, online tuition is now an increasingly common tuition choice. Online tuition is very similar to face-to-face tuition. Online tutoring allows you to have your tutorial from the comfort of your own surroundings. This means that you have access to all your notes and other study materials. Online tuition enables the same level of engagement as face-to-face tuition and within an environment that is familiar to you. I provide a discount for online tuition should you wish to use this option.
French Belingualfr Club KS1 & KS2
This is a weekly group tuition which costs £15 per child and per hour. It has many benefits. Your child will have the opportunity to interact with other students and meet new people, which means they will be able to hear other peoples' opinions and listen to questions they may not have thought of themselves or that they may be too shy to ask initially. Early exposure to a second language has cognitive benefits that extend far beyond the simple knowledge of that language.
French Belingualfr Club KS3
This is a weekly group session for KS3 students. This French club follows a curriculum that helps prepare children for the GCSE. We provide hand outs and materials to allow children to revise in between lessons. Every child gets an opportunity to speak in the language and practice in pairs. Children are able to share their knowledge with each other and this setting encourages interaction and enhances social skills. It allows the children to make new friends and encourages friendly competition.
French Belingualfr GCSE Club
This club last 90 minutes and costs £25. Our GCSE group is aimed at children taking their GCSE exams. There are many topics to cover, tenses, grammar and sentence structure. There will also be regular exams to prepare the children. Mock exams benefit children in many ways. It helps them with time management, answering strategies; understand the assessment criteria, etc.… It helps students gain confidence as they practice their speaking, listening, reading and writing.
In a globalized world, where mobility is facilitated, learning a language is a wonderful benefit. Not only does it help when traveling, it is also a great advantage for studying in general and for career prospects abroad. Acquiring a second language enables us to develop various mental abilities at all ages. Learning a new language also makes you more conscious of the nuts and bolts of your own language. Terms such as grammar, conjugation, idioms become everyday phrases.
Don't hesitate to get in touch should you have any questions or need clarification. For the 1 to 1 lessons, I will use the introductory session to learn about you, assess your level, what you would like to achieve and how long it might take.
Many thanks and kind regards,
I have experience as a one to one tutor for adults and children both in English and French and BSL as well as using languages in the work place and as a trainer, coach and mentor. My aim is to enable you to enjoy learning French and gain confidence in using it, at your own pace and according to your preferred style of learning. I have taught groups/classes in both French and BSL and have done private tutoring on a 1 to 1 basis. If there a few of you looking to learn French, please get in touch for a personalised quotation. I have learnt that each individual is different and therefore each lesson I prepare is different to suit the student/adult. This is why I use the first introductory session to learn about you, assess your level, what you would like to achieve to determine how long it might take. I will then prepare a schedule / plan to ensure we meet that deadline whether it being for professional reasons or to take the GCSE exam for example. The aim is always for you to learn, improve and gain confidence in using French whenever you need it.
If I had to describe my approach to tutoring in one word, it would be flexible. As each child/person is different, I feel it is important to tailor the lessons to suit the individual. This is the reason why during the sessions, I will use a variety of resources such as newspaper articles, radio, songs and documentaries and will provide you with materials. I will also be happy to tailor your lessons based on your interests whether it is sports, traveling, politics, geography, cooking, etc… As explained above, this is why I use the first introductory session to learn about you, assess your level, what you would like to achieve to determine how long it might take. I will then prepare a schedule / plan to ensure we meet that deadline whether it being for professional reasons or to take the GCSE exam for example. The aim is always for you to learn, improve and gain confidence in using French whenever you need it.
