Hi, I’m Binit, a medical student currently intercalating in Neuroscience. Drawing from my own experiences as both a student and teacher throughout my academic journey, I empathise with how difficult exams and subjects may appear. Nevertheless, with my tutoring I can provide personalised lessons that encourage a nurturing learning environment whilst also tackling common hurdles such as exam technique and timing.

I understand everyone has a different style and approach to their learning, and I will tailor my methods to bring the best out of my pupils. Ultimately, my abilities as Removed tutor stem from a blend of empathy, versatility, and a genuine desire to see my students excel not only academically but also grow into confident, independent learners.

Tutoring Experience

My journey into teaching began humbly, as I started out helping friends and family with their homework. Whilst in secondary school, I transitioned into tutoring junior students in GCSE Maths and Sciences, where I honed my skills in simplifying complex concepts and cultivating an energetic learning atmosphere.

As I progressed into university, I have remained committed to refining my tutoring approach to meet the diverse needs of my students. This continuous evolution has not only deepened my understanding of the subjects but also allowed me to develop versatile instructional techniques that inspire and empower students to excel academically.

Tutoring Approach

One key aspect of my tutoring approach is building from the ground up. In our initial lesson, I aim to collaborate with the student and parents to reach a better understanding of their needs. This involves discussing details such as the exam boards they will be facing, their current progress in the curriculum, any problematic areas they would like to particularly focus on, and their ultimate end goals. These insights are crucial in tailoring the student’s education.

In every session thereafter, I am dedicated to adapting to my students’ evolving requirements and progress. Whether it be keeping my students on their toes with some quick-fire questions or breaking down multifaceted theories into smaller, more comprehensible parts, I commit to dynamic learning experiences. Furthermore, I recognise learning can sometimes feel insulating, so I strive to make connections between the subject matter and real-life situations so my students’ learning is more relatable, meaningful, and engaging.

Most importantly, at the core of my tutoring approach lies a strong rapport with my students to foster an environment of open dialogue where questions and feedback flow freely. I firmly believe that cultivating comfort and trust enables optimal learning conditions. After all, learning is a journey, not a destination.
