I have enjoyed working in schools and colleges as well as with home schooled students for the past twelve years and love passing on the confidence and enthusiasm I have for languages.

Tutoring Experience

I have twelve years teaching experience in mainstream and private schools as well as sixth form colleges. I also have experience teaching home schooled students and have taught adult conversation classes. Preparation of students for oxbridge tests also available. All of this experience has been in both French and Spanish (equally qualified in both languages). I have spent time working in Paris and in Ecuador.

Tutoring Approach

I like to use a varied range of resources and have a lot of dialogue with pupils as well as making it fun! I am keen to find out what the pupil's goals are and how I can best support them. I want it to be a two way process where communication is fluid and the pupil feels comfortable and confident making progress at a good pace but within their comfort zone. I am always very thoroughly prepared and have a wealth of resources to draw upon. Essentially, I want to reignite the love of languages in my pupils and inspire them to be the best they can be.
