I have taught EFL for the past 13 years, both online and at FE colleges throughout Europe. I have also taught GCSE English Language for the past three years in the UK, including to students with specific learning difficulties.
Please note, I'm known by all as Bernadette, which is my middle name.

Tutoring Experience

For the past 4 years I have delivered GCSE and Functional Skills English lessons at a local FE College. Working with many Special Need students has enabled me to uniquely, and successfully, combine my skillsets as a TEFL teacher with teaching GCSE English. I hold a full DBS status as a college lecturer.

I also taught English as a foreign language, delivering 25-hour English language immersion courses within schools throughout Europe for over five years. This enabled me to gain invaluable experience working with students of all ages, levels, cultures, and nationalities. I have worked in colleges for Further Education for over seven years, teaching both TEFL and GCSE English.

In addition, I have worked as a freelance online TEFL teacher, as well as having been a lecturer within the International Dept of an FE college with university status for several years.

GCSE and Functional English courses aside, some of the many other specialised courses I have taught include Pronunciation, Conversational, and Business English.
I have a clear standard accent and over 25 years of teaching experience in teaching environments.
