Tutoring Experience

Teaching since 2012 with plenty of experience with A-level chemistry. Can teach all sciences up to GCSE and also have experience with AS-level physics teaching. Strong track record with previous tutees, including A-Level students obtaining A grades in chemistry and improving GCSE pupils science grade from a C to an A.

Tutoring Approach

My tutoring is very interactive. I like to engage in dialogue with my tutees as I find it really helps me discover the depth of their understanding. I like to set tasks so pupils can apply their new skills and consolidate their learning. I am also very adaptable in my approach as I appreciate every child learns differently. I have used models and activities to provide a hands on approach to learning, and have also produced large, multicoloured, annotated posters for those who are visual learners.
