After her first three lessons with Beka, I asked my daughter how they were going. Maths had become a huge, panic-inducing, 'rabbit in the headlights' issue for her, which is why I had decided to find a tutor to supplement her school work.

'I've understood more in three weeks than in the last three years', she replied.

After her last lesson with Beka, as the GCSEs were about to begin, she described to me the 'strange feeling' of being able to look at a question on a maths paper and to know what method to apply to get the answer, without any of the panic that she used to experience.
