Hi there! I'm Baran, a sixth-year medical student at the University of Edinburgh. I am happy to do online tutoring for students anywhere. Unfortunately, I am not able to provide in-person tuition due to the demands of my course.

I did my Advanced Highers in 2018, in Maths, Biology, and Chemistry and achieved all A's, as I did through Highers and National 5's also.
I am an upbeat, enthusiastic and dedicated individual who works well under pressure. I'm striving to improve my tutoring skills so my tutees can receive the best possible tools to aid them in their learning

I have much experience tutoring professionally (references available on request) in National 5 Maths, Chemistry, and Biology.

Tutoring Approach

My approach to teaching is to discover the method of teaching that the tutee finds most effective and use this to improve their skills in the areas required. I believe that building a strong understanding of the subject matter is pivotal to learning, and will strive to provide this in my teaching initially so that students have a strong base to begin with.

From there, I will work on the key areas of understanding required for the subject laid out by the qualifications authority.

I also believe that good study skills are key to success and will endeavour to integrate the development of these into my teaching so that students can perform at their very best throughout their education.

Unfortunately I cannot offer in-person tutoring at this time.
