I am a Medical and Regulatory Writer who is someone responsible for producing the regulatory documents to summarise the outcomes from a clinical trial to the health authorities. These documents must adhere to relevant guidelines and be fit for purpose, meaning that they communicate the necessary information accurately and transparently for heath authorities to make appropriate decisions.

Prior to my current role, I have been a research scientist in human genetics with post-graduate experience within academia and NHS hospitials. During this time have conducted research into statistical methods of monitoring disease progression in patients, mechanisms of modulating anti-inflammatory pathways and host-pathogen interactions in the human gut. I have engaged in a three year research project at the Royal Free Hospital that sought to identify the role of genes in bacterial infection of humans. During my MSc degree, I participated in a research project that investigated gene targets for anti-inflammatory treatments.

My ambition is to become a group leader of a research team which aims to answer contemporary questions in molecular genetics.

Tutoring Experience

I have tutored students for the past fifteen years in GSCE science and maths as well as A-level maths, chemistry and biology. During this time, the students I have tutored have achieved the grades needed to enter university for their desired degree courses.

The journey of learning has many challenges which requires a considered, intelligent effort in order to achieve success. Teachers and students are partners in the process of learning. Interaction between the two serves as a catalyst for understanding and motivations for success.

I have completed my Masters of Science degree which I will use to aid your doubts about biology and chemistry.
