This is how 2 referees rated Anton:
Highly motivated physics Tutor. Teaching experience accumulated by preparing more than 40 students for A-Level exams.
My name is Anton. I have master`s degree in Physics from University of New Hampshire. Besides my background as researcher I have four years of experience as a London based tutor. I primary teach A-level physics and most of my students were taking OCR, AQA, or Edexcel exams. I occasionally teach GCSE and University level subjects, such as Mechanics, Electrodynamics, and Quantum Mechanics. Currently I teach part-time in a private school.
My approach to teaching is flexible. Usually I easy detect weak spots in students understanding and this gives me chance to focus on the most relevant topics for a particular student. I carefully prepare myself for each session, and my goal is to make the student involved in the lesson not just leaving him to listen to me. In my opinion the Math involved in A-Level physics is not hard at all, and many students that are good in Math think they can handle physics relatively easy, but this is most of the time not true. I apply extra effort, in my lessons to make sure that student understands the physics concepts not just memorizing facts. My observation is that if the student goal is to achieve an A grade it requires on average two hours per week. Of course sometimes one hour is Okay, and some ambitious student ask for more than two hours per week. In any case it will give me great pleasure to help you improve your knowledge and make you feel the beauty of PHYSICS.
If you have any questions please let me know.
I also have enhanced DBS certificate.
