This is how 2 referees rated Annie:
My name is Annie . Teaching makes me happy. I am a friendly, enthusiastic, self-motivated and hard working person who gives total commitment to everything I undertake. I have excellent communication skills. I like to teach the basics and build a secure foundation. This will secure a good understanding when tackling more difficult subjects. I have taught in international schools and I am very passionate about the whole learning and teaching experience. I enjoy working with children to reach for their dreams through their education.
I have twenty years of teaching experience in the British curriculum. I teach primary and secondary students. I will motivate and stimulate my children by encouraging their learning through my experience. I encourage creativity and higher-order thinking in a way that increases the students performance.
My approach to tutoring is that I tailor my tuition to the needs of the student. I will tutor in my own home. I will vary my style depending on the ability and needs of the student. I aim to run my tuition in support of the progression of my students through their subject syllabus, but I am also willing to progress more slowly and focus on particularly weak areas if the student so desires. I will also offer pre-exam revision sessions for all exams. Many of my students have entered King Edward Grammar School and Newhall. I teach 11+ and entrance exams for private schools.
Please Note: I tutor Primary from Year 1. I don't tutor Reception and SEN pupils.
