I am warm and friendly, with a good sense of humour and have a passion for creating fun and engaging lessons for my students. Discretion, trust and honesty are qualities I pride myself on, as well as punctuality, commitment and excellent communication skills.

Tutoring Experience

I am a qualified teacher and have a wealth of teaching experience across the entire primary age range in schools, with particular expertise in KS2 and SEND. I have been tutoring for five years across the primary curriculum and also have experience with EAL, SEND and home education tutees. I am also an experienced 11+ and SATs tutor, with excellent pass rates.

Tutoring Approach

Building a trusting relationship with my tutees is key to my success as a tutor; finding out what makes them tick, what their learning styles are, what they may need extra encouragement or motivation with, and what their interests may be are all key to my approach. I am skilled at engaging and motivating children in order for them to achieve to the very best of their ability, as well as building their confidence and helping them to enjoy learning. My sessions are created in a completely bespoke manner and tailored to each individual, taking into account their learning needs and desired outcomes.
