I am a maths teacher at a secondary school in Oxford with a high level of experience in private tutoring (more than fifteen years) and teaching A-Level and IB courses. I enjoy tutoring immensely as it is evident that the pupils profit a lot from one-on-one maths tutoring and usually improve within a short period. It also helps me to experience first-hand some of the problems my pupils at school encounter when trying to learn maths.
I have been a teacher for more than 8 years and I am now teaching at a school in Oxford that offers A-Level and IB.
I have started tutoring pupils privately at a very young age and have continued to do so during my secondary school and university education.
I believe that each pupil requires an individual approach to learning and teaching and I am hoping to work out a good method in cooperation with you. We will identify problem areas and then work on them. Another important step will be doing as many past papers as possible to be fully prepared for an exam.
I am available for regular tutor sessions during the week but only if the tutee can come to my place, as I don't have enough time to include travelling to other places. I would be willing to try online tutoring as well, if this is preferred.
