Italian and English (Foreign Language) Lessons in St. Albans

I am a professional tutor with First Class Honours Degree in Italian offering individual and small group Italian tuition, tailored to meet each student's needs.

Lessons are available to students of all ages and levels (from beginner to advanced). I offer lessons either at my home or in the comfort of your house / workplace within 10 mile radius of St Albans. I currently have apointments available in the mornings, afternoons and evenings from Monday to Friday.

Furthermore, I have a TEFL Certificate and have taught English as a Foreign Language at Barnfield College. I studied for this Certificate at Luton University and did my teaching practice there during evening classes.

Tutoring Experience

I have recently taught at GCSE level in a local school - all students gained A* results. I have several small group lessons for the more mature students and am tutoring 4 students taking AS and A2 I have now achieved a total seven Grade A* Passes at GCSE out of seven candidates.

I have in the past taught the Beginers Italian Classes at Oaklands College.
I currently teach several students English as a Foreign Language.

Tutoring Approach

I use a large range of books and worksheets to teach the grammar. I have the last 20 years GSCE and A Level exam papers. I have many novels written in Italian. Realia, tapes, newspaper articles and sometimes films are used. All of my materials for teaching/enjoyment of the Italian Language are available to students should they wish to borrow.

Some of my current students, who have property in Italy bring correspondence they wish to translate to the lessons.
